About the role:

• Deliver friendly, professional customer service to event attendees, organisers, and stakeholders
• Monitor event environments, identify and respond to potential risks or incidents promptly
• Conduct security screening (including bag checks, scanning, and ticket/accreditation validation)
• Assist with crowd direction and movement to keep events running safely and smoothly
• Support vehicle and gate access control as required by venue procedures
• Use clear communication to de-escalate situations and provide assistance where needed
• Uphold Red Badge Group’s values and contribute to memorable, enjoyable events

To be successful, you must have:

• Hold (or be able to obtain) a current NZ COA (Certificate of Approval) security licence
• Clean criminal conviction record
• Previous experience in security, hospitality, customer service, or a similar field is an advantage
• Flexible availability – including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand and a minimum age of 18 years
