The role

Part-time · 22 hours per week · 4 days (must include Saturday & Sunday)

Weekends: Work as the Shift Manager on the floor alongside another team member, helping to look after sellers and shoppers, keep things organised and make sure the store runs well.

Weekdays: Work two weekday shifts where you’ll start the day with another team member for around 2 hours, then run the store on your own for the rest of the afternoon.

Your key responsibilities will include:

In-store (rent-a-rack focus)

• Welcoming sellers (rack holders), checking their racks, and helping them understand how the system works
• Supporting shoppers with sizes, styling help and finding items they’ll love
• Keeping racks tidy, tagged and organised (steaming, rotating stock, checking hangers, replacing tags)
• Monitoring sold items and making sure racks stay presentable and easy to browse
• Opening and closing the store on certain shifts, including basic cash-up and end-of-day tasks

Basic website & admin

• Helping with simple website updates (e.g. marking items available/unavailable, basic product or rack updates, checking bookings, updating stock status)
• Assisting with online orders where needed (e.g. packing, printing labels, updating status)
• Responding to emails and messages from sellers and customers in a friendly, clear way

Social media

• Creating content to show what’s in store – Stories, Reels, flat-lays, “new rack” videos, try-ons etc.
• Sharing key info (store hours, rack availability, events/markets) in a way that matches our brand

About you

You’ll be a good match if you:

• Are passionate about preloved fashion and enjoy secondhand shopping yourself
• Have retail experience, ideally in fashion or a boutique-style environment
• Are confident communicating with both sellers and shoppers – you can explain how things work and handle questions with patience
• Are comfortable with responsibility and being on your own in-store for part of your shifts
• Feel confident using Instagram and are happy to make simple content on your phone
• Are comfortable with basic computer tasks – using a website backend / Shopify-style system, email, and simple admin
• Are organised, reliable and fine with practical tasks like steaming, tidying, lifting and moving stock
• Are happy to work weekends regularly
