In this frontline role, your responsibilities will include the following:

• Supporting and engaging children to help them have a fun, safe, and positive experience in our classes and activities
• Supporting with the delivery of a variety of exciting programmes for children aged 5-13.
• Helping the centre maintain a caring, fun, and safe fitness and leisure environment.
• Helping centre management with administration and operational duties.
• Supporting centre activities including sporting leagues and daily timetabled programmes.
• We have x6 casual positions available with opportunities for hours on weekdays, school holidays or over the weekend to facilitate classes
  
  

He kōrero mōu: About you

You will already be passionate about sports and recreation and be ready to step into a frontline customer facing role.

You will also be:

• Having experience with Basketball and/or Gymnastic would be advantageous in this role.
• Responsible when it comes to working with children. (While previous experience working with children is beneficial, it is not essential)
• Have a flexible approach and be able to use your initiative to facilitate suitable programmes for kids.
• Be an enthusiastic team player.
• Have a positive attitude and infectious energy.
• Understand health and safety.
• Having experience facilitating basketball games would be advantageous in this role.

Importantly, you’ll be committed to maintaining a high degree of professionalism in your work.

You will need a First Aid Certificate, however, we will help you attain this if you do not have one already.
