Are you passionate about programming and UX design? This is a fantastic chance to apply your skills to new product design and testing.

What will I be doing

You will be responsible for setting up cloud-based IoT monitoring platforms on ThingsBoard. These platforms will collect and store status and system health data from remote traffic control systems, the data will be displayed on a customer-facing UI and used to generate alerts as needed. Additionally, you will be part of a team that sets up trial systems and monitors their performance.

What will you bring

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Familiarity with IoT platforms (Thingsboard preferable).

• An understanding of UX/UI design and testing principles.

• Experience in JavaScript and node-based programming.

Opportunity details:

This is an internship position for 400 hours.

The 400 hours will be completed during the summer break (Nov - Feb), but an immediate start may also be considered.

Our office is based in Waitoki, 10 minutes from Silverdale.

To qualify you must:

• Be in New Zealand with a valid work visa

• Be studying or have recently completed (no more than 12 months ago), your undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
