Join a great team at Poolwerx Waikato in our Cambridge store for the coming summer!
Hours are estimated to be 30 hours per week and will include Saturdays in the Cambridge store.
This is a temporary role, with an immediate start, working though to March next year.
At Poolwerx we want to ensure that each customer has a great experience in store and as a member of our Retail Team your key focus is to ensure this - This starts from the moment the customer walks in the door, to providing guidance around our products and ensuring they find what they need, upselling where you can and processing the sale at the till.
Your main role will be to test customers' pool or spa water using computerised testing equipment, analyse the results, explain these to the customer and provide the products they need to maintain a sparkling healthy pool.
We also are proud to offer a range of high quality spa pools and you will be part of a team presenting these to our clients and helping them select the perfect spa for their needs.
Other Duties include:
Providing genuine service and creating a lasting impressions with our customers
Have superstar selling skills that contribute to the sales performance of the store
Be a team player and contribute towards the store's success
Maintain exceptional presentation and merchandising standards of the showroom
Processing stock and ensuring shelves are adequately stocked
Assisting with Admin work as required
Skills & Experience
This is a very customer focused position so you'll naturally be a people person and a passionate customer service expert, ideally with previous retail and/or customer service experience and pool or spa knowledge would be a bonus.
Full training will be given and once fully trained and confident you will need to be able to work independently without supervision.
You must be confident working in a retail/sales environment and dealing with a variety of customers.
Your strong communication skills and excellent phone manner will be complimented by your team-focused and 'can do' attitude.
