The fruit stall is open 7 days a week from mid-November to the end of December. Due to the short harvest time the job is for 6 days a week, from 7am-5pm. This gives you the window to make good money in a short space of time. The jobs involved are: Thinning cherries, Picking cherries, Grading, and other small orchard tasks. Depending on where your skills lie, you may spend more time picking than grading, or vice versa but we all have a good go at each job role. Ladders are used to pick cherries from the tops of the trees so you must be able to walk around with a ladder.
