Job Overview:
As a Host at GIAPO, you are the face of our brand and the first point of contact for our customers. Your role is to provide a warm and welcoming environment, guiding guests through our unique ice cream offerings while ensuring they have an extraordinary experience. You’ll manage customer flow, take orders, and help deliver an engaging and interactive experience that reflects GIAPO’s innovative spirit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Welcome & Interaction:
Greet and welcome customers with enthusiasm, ensuring they feel valued and excited about their visit.
Engage with guests to introduce them to GIAPO’s unique offerings and guide them through our menu, explaining ingredients, flavors, and special creations.
Assist customers in making selections, answering any questions, and providing recommendations to enhance their experience. - Customer Flow Management:
Manage customer flow in the store, ensuring smooth and efficient service during busy periods.
Coordinate seating and manage waiting times, ensuring all guests are attended to promptly and courteously. - Service Excellence:
Take orders accurately and efficiently, processing payments and ensuring a smooth checkout experience.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure orders are delivered promptly and to the highest standard.
Address any customer concerns or feedback with a positive and solution-oriented approach. - Brand Ambassador:
Embody the GIAPO brand and its values in every interaction, ensuring each customer leaves with a memorable and positive impression.
Share knowledge about GIAPO’s story, ingredients, and innovative ice cream products to create an immersive experience.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role is preferred, ideally in hospitality or retail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for food and hospitality, with a customer-first attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and friendly demeanor.
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required.
- Must be living in the city or very close by.
- Being multi language is a plus.
