We're on the lookout for friendly, proactive people to join our team as Customer Service Representatives at Te Hāpua: Halswell Centre Summer Pools. If you love connecting with people, solving problems on the fly, and want a job that feels as good as the sunshine, this is the role for you.

This isn't your average customer service job. For five action-packed months, you'll be part of the team that keeps one of Christchurch's busiest summer pool hubs running smoothly.

Every day will be different as you:

• Welcome customers, help them access the pools, answer questions, and process payments.
• Log and manage service requests using Council systems, connecting customers to the right teams, and following up to ensure issues are resolved.
• Provide accurate information across phone, email, and face-to-face channels.
• Help create a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for everyone visiting the centre.

This is a part-time, fixed-term role (15 hours a week) working Saturdays and Sundays, 11.15am - 7.15pm - perfect for anyone looking for meaningful work over the summer.

You're a people person through and through - someone who loves helping others, thrives in a busy environment, and can stay calm under pressure. You'll also bring:

• Great communication and problem-solving skills.
• Confidence handling customer enquiries, service requests, and payments.
• A friendly, inclusive approach with everyone you meet.
• A willingness to learn Council systems and processes (training provided).

Experience in customer service is a bonus, but not essential, as we'll set you up for success.
