Job Description:
We’re looking for passionate and knowledgeable Physics tutors to join our team, focusing on NCEA Levels 1, 2, and 3. As a tutor, you will support students in developing a deeper understanding of Physics concepts, providing homework assistance, exam prep, and helping students achieve their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach NCEA Physics at Levels 1, 2, and 3, ensuring that students grasp core concepts and are prepared for their exams.
- Offer tailored support based on students' needs, including creating and reviewing learning plans.
- Assign and review homework and practice exercises to reinforce key topics.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate progress with parents or caregivers.
Qualifications:
- NCEA Excellence Endorsement in the subjects you'd like to teach, and previous tutoring experience is highly desired.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for helping students succeed. Multiple languages are a bonus.
- Familiarity with creating and adapting lesson plans tailored to individual needs.
- Ability to motivate and engage students in their learning journey.
- Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
- Candidates should have attended secondary school in New Zealand.
