Little High Eatery, Christchurch's premier dining destination, is looking for passionate and reliable Wait Staff to join our vibrant team. If you have a love for great food, great service, and great people, we want to hear from you!

Your Role: More Than Just Taking Orders

As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be the face of Little High, ensuring every guest has a memorable visit. Your responsibilities will include

Guest-First Service: Providing a warm, welcoming, and professional experience from the moment guests arrive until they leave.

Efficient Operations: Managing table turnover efficiently while never compromising on the quality of customer care. You'll keep your section clean, tidy, and ready for the next party.

Team Support: Working collaboratively in our high-traffic food hall environment by assisting with clearing tables, resetting stations, and supporting your colleagues.

Menu Expert: Developing a strong knowledge of our diverse 10+ vendor offerings to confidently answer guest questions and make recommendations.

Point of Sale: Accurately processing orders and payments using our POS system.

About You: The Perfect Fit

We are looking for someone who brings a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. The successful candidate will have:

A genuine, customer-focused attitude with a friendly and approachable demeanour.

The ability to stay calm, organised, and efficient during busy rushes.

A strong team spirit – you're reliable, communicative, and happy to help wherever needed.

A willingness to learn our standards and procedures.

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Previous experience in hospitality (a bonus, but not essential – we value the right attitude above all!).
