What you'll be doing:

• Greeting and welcoming customers with a smile.
• Engaging in friendly conversations and helping them find what they’re looking for.
• Offering advice on products and highlighting their best features.
• Suggesting alternatives if the item they want isn’t available.
• Finalising sales and processing payments.
• Thanking customers and wishing them well as they leave.

Your responsibilities:

• Making sure the sales floor is always covered.
• Keeping the shop floor tidy and merchandise neatly folded.
• Unpacking new stock, pricing, and restocking items.
• Maintaining high standards of store presentation and cleanliness.

What we're looking for:

• You should have great communication skills and enjoy chatting with all kinds of people.
• Retail experience is a plus but not essential—we’re really after someone friendly, confident, and passionate about customer service.
• Reliability, trustworthiness, and motivation are key!

Hours:

• Sunday 11am to 4pm
• Monday 11am to 4pm

• This job is located in the Wellington CBD and is likely best suited to someone living in Wellington City.
