DJI Store Team Leader – DJI Store Auckland

DJI Ferntech is New Zealand’s leading drone technology specialist, and we’re looking for a DJI Store Team Leader to run our Auckland DJI Store’s sales and support team.

Work side-by-side with the Auckland DJI Store’s sales and support team, leading from the front to deliver exceptional customer service, achieve sales targets, and ensure smooth retail and online operations. This is a hands-on role — you’ll spend most of your time serving customers, assisting with sales and support enquiries, and helping your team on the shop floor, while also taking responsibility for operational tasks, stock management, and keeping an eye on market trends to keep Ferntech ahead in the fast-moving drone industry.

What You’ll Do

• Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer experiences in-store, online, and over the phone.
• Meet and exceed sales goals through exceptional product knowledge and customer engagement.
• Oversee daily store operations – from stock control to merchandising and till balancing.
• Monitor and communicate with customers on backorders, keeping them updated on estimated arrival dates and alternatives.
• Support the ordering of stock by providing feedback to your manager on product demand and required stock.
• Monitor trends, competitor activity, and new product releases in the consumer drone and tech space.
• Keep our store clean, organised, and ready for customers.
• Contribute to social media and promotional activities.

What You’ll Bring

• 2+ years in sales or customer service, ideally with leadership experience.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• A passion for technology and a willingness to learn DJI products.
• Retail operations experience, including rostering and stock management.
