- Only black and white line drawings are typically accepted.
- Shading is limited to indicate depth, not artistic effect.
- Text is not allowed inside drawings (except reference numbers and very short labels).
- Margins and scaling must comply with IPONZ (Intellectual Property Office of New Zealand) and international standards.
