Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-person home visits to assess the suitability of host families.

• Evaluate accommodation standards, safety, and overall environment for student placement.

• Interview host families to determine their ability to provide a safe, welcoming, and culturally appropriate homestay experience.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and safeguarding guidelines.

• Complete and submit detailed assessment reports accurately and on time.

• Provide recommendations on host suitability and any necessary improvements.

• Maintain professional communication with hosts and the homestay team.

• Attend occasional training sessions to stay updated on assessment criteria and industry standards.

Key Requirements:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• High attention to detail and ability to assess environments objectively.

• Ability to work independently and manage own schedule efficiently.

• Professionalism, discretion, and a friendly approach.

• Reliable transport and a valid driver’s license.

• Experience in homestay assessments, social work, education, hospitality, or a related field is an advantage.

• Knowledge of child safety and cultural diversity is beneficial.

• Prefer someone who lives in Central or West Auckland.

• Must have own car and A Clean driving license
