Welcome to Sweet Talk, Auckland’s hidden online cakery. We’re not a big shiny factory. We’re a small, busy, flour-dusted kitchen where butter is measured in blocks and ovens never get a rest!

We’re looking for a Production Assistant – part organiser, part problem-solver, part all-round legend – to join our team. If you’re the sort of person who gets a kick out of a well-organised shelf, finds folding boxes strangely therapeutic, and doesn’t mind getting your hands (and probably your clothes) a little messy, we want you.

Your day might look like:

• Weighing out ingredient like flour, sugar, cocoa

• Cutting giant butter slabs into small pieces

• Scooping cookie dough

• Packaging products like banana loaves, walnut brittle

• Making cake jars

• Cleaning the oven

• Keeping dishes, floors, and workspaces sparkling clean

• Packing orders with care so they arrive looking gorgeous

• Folding boxes

• Decluttering and organising

This role is for you if:

• You love order, lists, and making things run smoothly

• You’re happy to jump between jobs – big or small – without fuss

• You like working with your hands and keeping busy

• You don’t take yourself too seriously (but you take pride in doing things properly)

You’ll be an integral part of a small team where every task, no matter how simple, helps keep Sweet Talk ticking. We can’t promise it’ll always be glamorous (spoiler: it won’t), but we can promise it’ll be satisfying, fun, and smell like cake.
