We are looking for a lovely after-school nanny for our 3 children, Girl aged 10, Twin Boys soon to be 8 years old, based in Birkenhead. Ideally you will work 3-4 afternoons per week, we are flexible on the days as both parents can flex their hours if need be. Our amazing current nanny has been with us for 18 months, but is needing to move on to fulfil her physio placement. During that time we have been able to flex the days/hours according to her uni timetable changes/exams etc and are also very flexible on holidays etc (particularly if you can also help us with extra childcare in the school holidays!).

The role involves collecting the children from Northcote Primary School, taking them to after-school activities/sports practices where applicable, or bringing them home/going to playgrounds, supervising homework, helping to prepare meals when required, and light cleaning related to children (lunchboxes, tidying up etc).

Most of the time you should be able to use one of our cars, but ideally you will have own also (we will pay mileage if you need to use yours).

We are looking for someone responsible, kind, calm, and adaptable, who has some basic cooking skills, and can use their initiative - someone that is fun for the kids to be around, and will get them out and about doing fun things and help to limit their screen/device time. You will also work in with our kids' friends' parents/nannies/au pairs to organise playdates and shared rides to activities (such as rugby, football, horse-riding, cheerleading, swimming etc) as needed.

Start date flexible between now and end of October and we would be interested in childcare services during school holidays too (also happy to review days of work in the New Year once you know your 2026 schedule). Look forward to hearing from you! :)
