We have two amazing ND boys, 15 and 17 and are looking for someone who would be keen to hang out with them on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am-1pm. This would involve taking them out - and doing whatever you all feel like! Things like going to cafes, exhibitions, zoo, movies, bookstores. Helping them to learn the lifeskills required to do this (e.g. taking a bus and reading the instructions, finding where they need to go, paying at eftpos). Building a connection with you and conversation skills. Our priority is for them to have more freedom, with support, and get out and about like other teens their own age are typically doing with their friends. I would see this as an going job, no firm end date, depending on your availability.
