Looking for front of house staff to help us over the busy summer period in Portobello. Our little pub gets incredibly busy over the summer with tourists visiting wildlife and scenery on the Otago peninsula.

The ideal candidate is friendly, confident and great at communicating (tourists have varying levels of being able to communicate in English).

Your tasks would include taking food orders, communicating them to the kitchen, taking payments from customers, serving drinks etc. We would also like to have the candidate staff our Ice Cream parlour- located within the Hotel. This role is more independant and involves serving Ice Cream as well as taking orders and processing payment.

Busiest times are weekends, and the two months surrounding Christmas. We work on a roster so are able to be fliexible with more staff- but if you are keen to make the maximum amount of earnings and can committ to Fridays and weekends over the summer holidays we can give you lots of hours!
