Straight A’s Education Centre caters for primary and
secondary school students providing specialist tutoring in Mathematics,
English, and the Sciences. Straight A’s is a tuition center that works along
side schools and supports children’s learning within the New Zealand
curriculum. As a result, Straight A’s is able to provide programs that will
complement, consolidate and extend children’s ongoing academic development.

You would join a team of like-minded tutors committed to our
philosophy of providing high quality individualized support to all students.
Each student is supported according to a plan designed specifically to their
need. Our tutors are either studying at University locally or are trained
teachers. Hence you must have completed your secondary education in NZ or
trained here as a teacher, as an understanding of the NZ curriculum is
essential.

You must be strong both academically and interpersonally as
we expect you to build a strong rapport with your students. You will work at
the center with 3 to 4 students maximum on a regular basis so that there is
continuity. We operate three 75 minute sessions from 15.30 each day and on
Saturday mornings. We also offer holiday programs and exam preparation.
