About us Extra Rad Events is an event consultancy that provides services to NDuro Events and a number of clients Nationally in New Zealand including Social Media and Content teams. We are looking to build the social media and content teams for the Whaka100 Mountain Bike event in Rotorua from 24-26 October 2025 and also a variety of running, mountain bike and triathlon events over the next 15 months. About the role We create, edit and publish original mobile first content for social media channels for our clients. This work is produced and published at scale and pace, lots of vertical video, some images. You'll create engaging content primarily for IG, FB, TikTok and YT Shorts. This includes UGC participation content, interviews, storytelling, capturing specific event activations and sponsor content. In this role, you'll work closely with our team and our clients to brainstorm content ideas that deliver on project requirements. We value your creativity and input, so you'll have the freedom to pitch and execute your ideas. There is some pre-work required but we are largely focused around building teams for capturing and publishing during event delivery. Events also typically work with larger scale photography and videography organisations for editorial and broadcast content. These are project based contract positions, with hours to be mutually confirmed. About you You should be social media & content savvy and happy to be on camera. You don't need fancy equipment, everything is shot on mobile. It's preferable you have a fairly new high end phone with good camera, we provide other equipment such as microphones, gimbals, cameras etc. We are particularly keen on people based in Rotorua or close by. Any expenses agreed in advance to deliver the content will be paid in addition to the hourly rate.
