About the role:
We are looking for a team of candidates to join SJS as Chase Specialists in our Wellington office, just at the top of Lambton Quay. This role is designed to speak to a range of employers and rangatahi via call, text or email to find out whether they were successful in find a job or candidate through our website. This information is important as part of spreading our mission and highlighting the impact we have on students and employers.
Hours required:
Ideally four candidates will work full time hours (40 hours) Monday-Saturday between 8.30-5pm. We’re also open to job sharing/part-time arrangements (e.g. 20-30 hours per week), if this is you, please comment on your availability.
Availability: You must be available 2x full days of training 5th & 6th November.
This is a fixed term role until the 5th December. There will be opportunities to continue working for the team and learning new skills on a casual basis during the Christmas period and beyond.
What you’ll be doing:
- Aiding in our ‘chase’ process which is contacting employers and students to find out if they were hired for a job through our website.
- Outbound calling, texting, and emailing to both employers and students.
- Recording accurate data from communications via our website
- Ensuring all data is up to date and verified.
- Other administrative data that can ensure clean and verified data.
Who you are
- Confident communicating with people on the phone and in writing
- A team player who enjoys working with others to achieve a common goal
- Comfortable chatting with a wide range of people by phone and email
- Familiar with using online databases, Excel, Word, and SharePoint
- Organised, with good time management and the ability to meet deadlines
- Careful with detail and accuracy
- Experienced in providing great customer service
