We’re Potentia, a technology recruitment agency focused on creating a better future for our communities. One of the ways in which we achieve this is by hosting fun events where people can come to learn, connect and feel inspired. We are hosting a networking event next month and we want to photograph it to share with our audience. Our audience mostly consists of people with careers in the tech industry alongside hiring managers, those in HR and other recruiters!



Purpose 



We’re always looking for ways to demonstrate the awesome work our team does and that’s where you come in. Capturing this event with professional photography will produce marketing material that we can use to increase brand awareness, demonstrate brand values and activity, and extract more ROI from the event. We plan to use the photos across our LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram channels to show off what will be a great night and to encourage others to come along to the next one.



Outcome 



We’re looking to have a collection of photos captured that show off the event, the atmosphere, and the people. The tone should be warm, light and feel more like a social gathering than a formal networking event. 

Photo dimensions and size should be compatible with LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram.

Resources 



You will require your own equipment to capture and edit the event and arrange your own transport to and from the venue. Remuneration will be $150.



Time 



Final handover of edited and final photographs will be within five days of the event to ensure social media publication within a relevant timeframe. The event itself will run from 5:30 to 7pm and is located in Central Dunedin (the address will be shared upon confirmation of the role). It’s expected that you’re at the event for at least an hour of its peak (6-7) in order to capture a wide array of footage. We trust that you’ll know when you have what you need to complete the task successfully so after the 1 hour mark you’re free to leave or you can stick around, grab some food, a drink and network if you like.



Additional Details 



Successful completion of the job could lead to further contract work in the future as we’re looking to be more proactive in capturing the many events we host and extracting as much return on investment into them as possible. And of course, you can use the work you produce for your portfolio and acquire a reference from us if we’re happy with the collaboration.
