We are looking for a short-term maths tutor to help our 15 year old son prepare for his NCEA Level 2 Calculus exam in Oct/Nov this year. He needs someone to meet with him for 1 hour twice weekly to go through the syllabus from beginning to end. The applicant must be studying maths, statistics, engineering or physics at university. They will also need to have done or be familiar with the NCEA level 2 syllabus and be good at translating abstract math concepts into the real world. Meetings can be at the university or at our home in Northland.
