The Role

We’re looking for a practical, detail-oriented Outlet Sales Assistant to support our Wellington Outlet Store.
This hands-on position focuses on preparing, promoting, and selling clearance or discontinued product lines. You’ll handle product preparation, photography, listings, in-store presentation, and customer service while working closely with the Outlet Sales Manager and Warehouse Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and photograph products for online sale
• Create accurate listings with current pricing and availability
• Respond promptly to customer enquiries
• Assist with order picking, packing, dispatch, and returns
• Support pricing and promotional activities
• Maintain an organised, well-presented outlet store
• Serve customers in-store with friendly, knowledgeable service

About You

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with pricing and product data
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Good organisation and time-management abilities
• Confident computer skills (Excel/Word/ Adobe Suite) and quick to learn new systems
• Previous customer-service experience and a professional attitude
• Reliable team player who can also work independently

Bonus Skills

• Experience with Trade Me, Tradevine, Shopify, NetSuite or similar platforms
• Retail, wholesale, or online-sales background
• Knowledge of stock management or clearance processes
• An eye for visual presentation and product marketing
