Are you an AI-savvy problem solver with a passion for automation, content creation, and digital systems? Do you enjoy building clever tools that make businesses run smoother and smarter? If yes — we want to meet you!
About Us
We are a well-established music school in Wellington offering high-quality music lessons, a thriving band school, and engaging holiday programmes. As we grow, we’re expanding into new digital and creative services — and we need the right person to help take us there.
The Role
We’re looking for someone who can lead the implementation of a custom AI chatbot and support a range of digital projects across the business.
You will help us integrate and automate key systems including accounting workflows, Google Sheets tools, website functions, and online content platforms. You’ll also support the development of creative digital media for our community.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and integrate an AI chatbot to enhance customer enquiries, admin workflows, and internal operations.
Build and optimise Google Sheets tools, scripts, and automations (including Apps Script).
Assist with website integration and system connectivity (APIs, forms, booking systems, etc.).
Create and refine audio content for marketing and educational use.
Set up, produce, and maintain a YouTube channel for lessons, announcements, and promotional content.
Help identify new digital opportunities to support our upcoming service expansion.
We’re Looking For
Experience with AI tools, chatbot development, or automation (e.g., ChatGPT, Dialogflow, custom API setups).
Strong skills in Google Sheets, Apps Script, or coding in similar environments.
Confidence with website management, integrations, or basic web development.
Audio editing and content production skills (any DAW).
Knowledge of video editing and YouTube strategy is a bonus.
A proactive, creative thinker who enjoys problem-solving and learning new tools.
Interest in music or education is helpful but not required.
Why Join Us?
Work with a fun, supportive, music-loving team.
Flexible hours — ideal for a freelancer or someone building a portfolio.
A chance to shape new digital initiatives from the ground up.
Real-world creative impact on a growing Wellington arts organisation.
