About the Role:
We’re looking for a proactive and organised Digital Administrative Assistant - Health, Safety and Wellbeing to join our team in our Hamilton office.
This part-time, office-based role is ideal for someone who has health and safety experience or is studying occupational health and safety, has a background in customer service and/or strong administrative skills, and confidence using digital systems and platforms. You’ll support our consultants in delivering services to external clients.
We’re also looking for someone who’s outgoing and enjoys building relationships - someone who’d be keen to represent the company, product and brand and connect with clients in person when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
-Provide administrative support to health and safety consultant e.g. audit reports, policies, procedures.
-Prepare and assist it the digital transformation of client-specific health and safety systems
-Leverage and utilise AI to add value and assist clients
-Assist and support clients with their needs while navigating the change from paper to digital systems
-Track client compliance requirements and deadlines.
-Draft client reports, manuals, and documentation packs.
-Maintain client records, ensuring information is accurate, up-to-date, and well organised.
-Maintain and build relationships with digital platforms and partnerships
-Stay current with relevant health and safety legislation and standards.
Key Skills and Attributes:
-Some background in workplace health and safety is essential.
- Applicants must hold, or be actively working towards a New Zealand Diploma in Workplace Health and Safety Management (Level 6) or a Postgraduate Diploma in Occupation Health and Safety.
-Excellent administrative and organisational skills.
-High attention to detail and strong written communication.
-Confident using Microsoft Office, cloud-based systems and operating in the digital space.
-Friendly and professional manner with great people skills.
-Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
-Outgoing and interested in building relationships in the industry and representing the company and brand.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
-A relevant qualification in health and safety (or working towards a qualification) (e.g. NZ Certificate in Workplace Health and Safety Practice Level 3 or higher).
-Previous experience in the health and safety space.
-Familiarity with the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.
