We have vacancies for Apple Thinning at our orchard in Appleby (Richmond) and Riwaka.

We are looking for reliable, fit and keen individuals for apple thinning from mid November through to mid December.

You will be working outdoors for up to 9 hours per day, with a 30-minute break for lunch and two 10-minute tea breaks, 5-6 days per week.

Hours will be weather dependent.

Some work is carried out on ladders and/or elevated platforms, so you will need a good head for heights.

Previous thinning experience is preferred, but full training will be provided.

Job requirements:

• Comfortable working on ladders/platforms and at heights

• Reliable transport to get to and from work

• Closed toe shoes and rain jackets

• Sun Smart clothing including a hat
