Our Guardian Safety Bandsaws have been in service worldwide since 2018 and is the first bandsaw globally with a zero-accident track record. Unlike a regular bandsaw, Guardian Safety Bandsaws are sophisticated machines which utilise computer vision to rapidly release stored energy – stopping saw blades in tens of milliseconds and preventing injury to the user.

What will you be doing?

• Installing electrical assemblies into bandsaws
• Assembling loom kits
• Assembling and wiring of electrical and pneumatic gearplates.
• Assembling cable harnesses and bandsaw vision components
• Preparing and modifying cables
• Software installation and PLC programming
• Troubleshooting electrical faults in bandsaws

What do you need?

• Experience working with electrical components (Electrical trade
  qualifications are preferred)
• Handy with electrical tools and general workshop tools
• Able to self-manage and work to deadlines
• A methodical, careful and excellent work ethic
• Excellent knowledge of H&S
