We are a plant-based bakery looking for a server to work at our small store at Wellington Airport over the summer (and more if desired!)

Job Details

• This position is for our store at Wellington Airport, inside the domestic terminal. You will be selling our baked goods to airport customers, helping and answering questions, cleaning, organising the store, etc.
• The position is for approximately 10 - 20 hours per week in December and January. Consistent shifts start in December, but we can likely get you some shifts sooner if you are available. Shift options are reasonably flexible, and are as follows:
• Monday - Friday: 6am - 11am or 11am - 4.30pm
• Saturday & Sunday: 6.30am - 11.30am or 11.30am - 4.30pm

IMPORTANT - when applying, please include in your application (CV, cover letter, or message) a bit about what you're looking for... Can you work any shifts/days? How many hours are you interested in?

• You must be available for most of the Christmas and New Year period (although we are closed Dec 25 and Jan 1).
• We also have 3 other shops in Wellington, so there are plenty of cover shifts/extra hours available when desired. Thus coffee experience is not required but is a plus.
• Potential for this to be a long-term position if desired.
• Rates from $26 p/h.
• There is bicycle and moped parking, free street parking nearby (a few minutes walk), or the airport flyer bus/public transport.

Job Requirements

• We need someone who is an efficient and methodical worker, and a friendly and outgoing person :)
• You may be required to do morning shifts, so you must be able to reliably get to the airport for 6am starts. One weekend shift will likely be required.
• Applicant must have a current NZ work status/visa.
