You’ll be part of our education and zero waste teams,
helping deliver engaging sustainability programmes and community events.

No two days are the same — one day you might be guiding students through the
Tread Lightly Caravan’s interactive exhibits, and the next you could be helping
sort waste and educate the public at a community event.

You’ll:

• Support the delivery of environmental education sessions in schools
• Help tamariki and rangatahi understand how everyday actions affect the planet
• Set up, run and pack down Tread Lightly exhibits
• Get involved in zero waste events like Eye on Nature, Repair Cafés and
  community workshops
• Chat with the community about recycling, resource recovery and waste reduction
• Be part of a friendly, motivated team making a real difference

You’ll Bring:

• A passion for environmental education and sustainability
• Confidence working with children and community groups
• A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to learn
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to lift and set up light equipment (moderate physical activity
  required)
• A full or restricted NZ driver’s licence

Pay Rate:

Casual Rate $28.95 +8% holiday pay
