Join our in-school sports programme, taught in primary, intermediate and secondary schools throughout New Zealand. We’re looking for energetic individuals who love working with kids. This is a great opportunity for university students or aspiring coaches and teachers to start working within schools!

About the Programme:

Our programme focuses on developing kids' motor skills—from basic kicking and catching for primary schools to advanced ball handling and gameplay for secondary schools. The aim is to foster a love for sport in a fun, sociable environment. NO AFL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED, All training is provided.

Role and Responsibilities

As a coach, you will:
•    Lead groups in drills and games
•    Interact with students and teachers
•    Ensure everyone is having fun
•    Work in a team with other coaches

Details:
Work Hours: 3-15 hours per week between 8:30am and 4:30pm
Location: Local schools
Flexibility: Work just one day per week or more, with hours that can fit around other commitments
Pay Rate: Starting at $26.50 per hour, with increases as you gain responsibility and experience. Mileage covered.

Requirements:
•    Commitment to attend one unpaid induction day during school hours
•    Excellent communication skills
•    Positive, friendly attitude
•    Willingness to learn
•    Own transportation to schools
•    Police check required
