What SJS requires from you to continue offering this free employment service

SJS is committed to providing students with a fair, reasonable, safe and easy way to enter the employment market. As part of this philosophy SJS is not prepared to accept job advertisements from employers, industries or enterprises where there is an unacceptable risk to the health and safety of students, or an intension to discriminate on prohibited grounds, either directly or indirectly (refer Human Rights Act 1993).

By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you are agreeing not to advertise jobs that will not be beneficial to our students. These include, but are not limited to:
• Jobs that are exploitative of students on the grounds of gender, race or sexual orientation
• Jobs that are contrary to community standards
• Jobs that are in contravention of New Zealand Employment law
• Jobs that are illegal or have the potential to be in breach of the law
• Jobs that could place students at risk of physical or serious psychological harm
• Jobs where students are left vulnerable or exploited
• Jobs where it is indicated that selection will involve discrimination on prohibited grounds
• Jobs that are deemed to be inherently dangerous

Student Job Search reserves the right to delete from its website any job which it believes will not be beneficial to students.

Student Job Search does not charge a success fee to employers, but we are funded in direct relation to the number of students we place in work. Therefore, to use our services, we need you to provide us with the name of the student you have taken on.
We also expect you to behave in an appropriate way toward our student workers - they have the same rights in law as any other employee.

Disclaimer:
SJS does not warrant that the service provided will be uninterrupted, secure or error free.
